Due to the fact that there many different spreaders available on the market we are unable to list them all.  As a general guideline, the opening in the bottom of the spreader should be slightly more than 3/8".  On most spreaders, this would be 1 setting below halfway open.  Please note that the product distribution rate is dependent on walking speed.  Turf Trust is designed to be applied a normal walking pace.

I forgot to sweep off my sidewalk after I applied Turf Trust and now my sidewalk is stained with rust spots.  What should I do?

The staining is caused by the Iron that is in the Turf Trust.  Iron is an important secondary nutrient for the health and color of your lawn.  In the event that the Iron causes unsightly staining it can be removed by using Iron Out^®.  Iron Out^® is commonly found in the cleaning products section of your local supermarket or hardware store.
